Verification Procedure
The concerned candidate/any organization requests for verification /authenticity of any document issued by the Examinations Department (viz. Degree/Transcript/Pass/Marks Certificates/ Appearance Certificate/Merit Certificate etc.) in the form of application/letter addressed to the Controller of Examinations and submitting two Photostat copies of pertinent document(s) along with requisite fee.
The application of the candidate/letter of the concerned organization alongwith relevant documents & fees is entered in the Register of the Enquiry Counter on the same day after proper scrutiny and receipt is issued to the concerned candidate on the backside of the paid challan of the candidate’s copy mentioning therein the date of delivery of verified documents.
The said receipt issued to the candidate shall necessarily be returned in original on the Enquiry Counter at the time of collection of verified document(s). In case requisite fee is not received from the concerned organization/candidate, letter is sent for doing the needful.
The Enquiry Clerk shall deliver the application/letter along with paid Bank Challan/Bank Draft & Photostat copies of documents in duplicate directly to In charge Verification Documents through Incharge Customer Services who shall coordinate for timely disposal.
The In charge Verification Documents shall refer all the pertinent official record and incorporate the marks in the Verification Proforma duly signed by the Assistant Controller of Examinations.
After proper verification from the office record, the Photostat copy of pertinent document(s) is/are got signed by the Controller of Examinations/ In-charge Verification Cell duly stamped and sent by the Incharge Customer Services to the quarter concerned or personally
delivered to the concerned candidate duly sealed with covering letter.
Duration for Verification of documents is 20 working days.
In case of detection of any discrepancy/irregularity, the matter is reported to the ViceChancellor immediately
